Case Study
It's only one hour per week... but it makes SUCH a difference.
Meet Jean and Lindy:
“I really look forward to Lindy’s visits. She has so much going on in her life and I love hearing about what she’s been up to. She wears bright colours that I can see and talks really clearly so I can understand her. We sit and have a cup of tea and have lots of chatteration. Lindy tells me all about her week and I’ll tell her all about mine. But I’m really boring”
“Jean is absolutely not boring! She’s led a long and fascinating life. She was in the WRNS just after the War where she met her husband Peter, a Lieutenant-Commander in the Navy. She has visited and lived in many parts of the world before buying the Pulborough house. They kept a yacht in Chichester harbour and had many adventures sailing in and around the Channel.
And, if we run out of things to tell each other, Jean always keeps up with the news so we’ll discuss current affairs and put the world to rights.”
Thank you PDCCA for putting us together. We both feel we've made a friend.
